The British Virgin Islands Another great spot for sailors are the British Virgin Islands with their crystal clear waters and many natural wonders that draw attention of all tourists. It will be a perfect place for people who love snorkelling and diving, but also for the fans of other water sports like windsurfing, parasailing or jet skiing. On some of the islands you will also find great hiking tracks and breathtaking beaches for those who would need a rest. 3. Barbados Barbados is one of those islands that did not lose its British roots, and thanks to that we can still admire the charm and elegance of the cities, colonial buildings and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Those who besides sailing, water sports and sunbathing want to feel the real spirit of the Caribbean region should definitely visit Barbados and do some sightseeing. 4. The Cayman Islands Located in the western part of the Caribbean, this British Oversees Territory is famous among tourists for the Stingray City. The top tourist attraction is a shallow sandbar where you get a chance to swim and interact with a great number of graceful rays. And if you like such attractions, you need to see the Cayman Turtle Farm as well. This research and breeding farm will be a really great attraction for any animal lover. As a matter of fact, almost every island in the Caribbean is a perfect spot for snorkelling, diving and of course sailing. The picturesque landscapes are just breathtaking and white sandy beaches allows you to soak in the sun and relax. The region is full of attractions and surprises! |
